On Friday 6th July David Owen QC will offer his views on dealing with interlocutory issues and submissions both at oral hearings and in awards. Described in Chambers UK Guide as "a figure right at the heart of the commercial dispute resolution world"
The day will begin with a master class on Interlocutories and Submissions presented by David Owen QC. David Owen is a Barrister and Arbitrator, a member of 20 Essex Street Chambers, with over 25 years experience of commercial disputes, principally involved in the fields of banking, finance, insurance, reinsurance shipping, international trade, commodities, energy, professional negligence and commercial contracts.
After lunch Arbitrators will have an opportunity to raise any issues they would like to discuss. Please submit any topics you would like to raise to the Director General for inclusion in the afternoon's agenda.
